Huw Curtis-Lewis, Nic Boyde, Norman Edwards and Les Smith win the Inglis Trophy for HSBC in 2002 at Aberdeen

HSBC Rifle Club is affiliated with the Stock Exchange Rifle Club and uses their facilities in the City and at Bisley.

Individual members also use, typically, other shooting clubs near where they live and shoot both for HSBC and their local clubs. As many competitions are postal - shot targets are posted off to be marked by the NSRA for example - this is straightforward.

For those wishing to shoot in the City of London after work, and about 9,000 HSBC staff work in or near the City, the facilities of the Stock Exchange Rifle Club are available.

To contact HSBC Rifle Club direct, please contact Norman Edwards by email, or call 020-7381 1874.

The sport is not about shooting animals, or even things: merely punching holes, precisely, through paper targets at distances from 25 to 1000 Yards. Safety is paramount.

If you're interested in finding out a lot more, get hold of Norman Edwards and then come along to one of our Guest Days, when we are allowed to let non-members have a go, and try for themselves the gentle art of marksmanship.

Meanwhile, please explore what the Stock Exchange Rifle Club can offer you.
